At Isidore and Augustine, we have refined the art of stationery creation into a seamless, intuitive experience. Our process is designed to empower your vision, guiding you with clarity from initial inspiration to the final, tangible piece.

Below, we outline the simple journey to creating your definitive paper goods.

The Sample Kit

To experience the quality of our materials firsthand, we invite you to purchase a sample kit. You will receive a complete invitation suite of your choice alongside our comprehensive swatch deck. This tactile collection includes our full range of cardstock and envelope colors, ink swatches, and a small card demonstrating the tactile impression of our letterpress technique, allowing you to physically build and visualize your final palette.

The value of your sample kit ($65) may be applied toward your future Collection order. Shipping within the United States is complimentary.

Turnaround Times

Your final delivery date is the sum of the following phases, plus your chosen shipping method. Please note that all timelines begin only after we receive the necessary components from you (wording, feedback, or final approval).

Design

The design phase begins once we receive your completed wording; for Standard orders, allow 5 business days for your first proof and 2 business days for revisions, while Rush orders are expedited to 1 business day for each.

Please note that custom venue illustrations add 3 business days to your design time.

Production

The production phase begins after we receive your final approval and address spreadsheets and takes approximately 3 weeks for standard orders or 5-7 business days for rush orders.

Please note that letterpress printing adds 7 business days to production.

Shipping

Your total timeline is completed by the shipping method you select at checkout (1-Day, 2-Day, or Economy).

Your design journey begins by selecting one of two creative paths. Both provide access to our 10 distinct Collections and our full range of fine materials.

The Color Edit

Choose this path to begin with a pre-curated colorway, artfully paired with a specific Collection as a thoughtful starting point. From there, you can make refinements to individual colors and materials for each piece.

Alternatively, select this path to build a custom palette from the ground up for the Collection of your choice, giving you complete control over every material and color combination.

This path offers the most creative freedom to compose a suite that is entirely your own.

Curation & Ordering

Visual Curation

Our unique preview tool is designed for complete clarity, allowing you to visualize your full suite in real time as you make selections. The tool provides a complete and instant price breakdown as you explore refinements from embellishments to print methods. During this stage, you will also select your preferred typographic styles.

Your typographic selections are not shown in the instant preview; instead, they are professionally typeset by our team and presented in the formal proof you receive after ordering.

Placing Your Order

Once you have finalized your aesthetic choices, add the suite to your cart. Before proceeding to our secure checkout, you will have the option to select either our standard or rush design and production timeline.

This action confirms your design selections and timeline, moving your order into the appropriate studio queue.

Submitting Your Wording

Within fifteen minutes of your purchase, you will receive an email with links to any remaining questionnaires needed to complete your suite. Here, you will be guided to provide the wording for each piece and will receive a thoughtfully designed template for any guest addressing services.

While your main wording is needed for proofing, the guest addressing spreadsheet may be submitted at your convenience, any time before final print approval.

Expert Review & Production

Once your wording is received, a professional stationer from our team will thoughtfully review it, making any necessary refinements as they typeset your first digital proof. You will then have two rounds of revisions to collaborate with us on perfecting the wording, colors, and minor layout adjustments.

After your final approval, your suite enters production, where each piece is artfully printed and finished.

Final Artistry & Delivery

Following an exacting quality inspection, each component of your suite is beautifully and securely packaged for its journey. To ensure every piece arrives in pristine condition, your stationery will arrive in neatly separated stacks. For your convenience, envelope liners arrive pre-assembled within their corresponding envelopes, while other embellishments such as ribbons or vellum wraps are secured to the main invitation card. The final stuffing and sealing are left for your final touch.

You will receive a notification with tracking information as soon as your order has been dispatched.
